They have no history with the label - this isn’t a case of a trans man who previously thought he was a lesbian still feeling attached to the community. NO: lesbians can have preferences AND still respect trans women- these are not mutually exclusive.
YES: lesbians have to date trans women because their dating preference dictates their moral code
(Curious since I have felt alot of pressure as a afab lesbian to date trans women otherwise I am deemed a bad person for it... I just have preference for other afabs since I can relate to those people's experience better, feel more comfortable, and I feel more legitimately attracted to them! I always liked trans women otherwise though, and I want rights for them like anyone else. Was hoping to hear what other people think though.)
