Welcome to the City of Offal!

The City of Offal is my person project to try to make my own TTRPG. The setting? A vast and nigh endless dark, dirty gearpunk city full of pollution, roving street gangs, disease and destitution, where the poor live like cockroaches in the cracks between the factories and the rich live in towers so high in the polluted sky they slowly choke out their descendants from sheer pollution.

The houses have almost cancerous growths from near constant construction and renovation, with laundry lines going like veins between the titanic beasts. The sky is black clouds and caustic soot, rain pelting down as acid.

In the shadows are ancient superstitions of fortune tellers and ghosts, of the mythical Stitchers, surgeons who input blades and weaponry into the bodies of whoever can pay, often driving the person insane from pain and drug use.

Beneath the city are endless tunnels filled with the dying and deformed, shunned by those living above, and those living above the tunnels shunned by the rich, named Towers, living in the clouds. The only law is money, mercenaries, and violence.

Can you survive and thrive in such a terrible, cramped and dying city, collapsing beneath the weight of it's own product? Find out in the soon to be made (hopefully) TTRPG, the City of Offal!

Dark Victorian Portrait: Lady Charlotte Nightshade, the Royal Necromancer, and her Attendant By @egregoredesign

Lady Charlotte Nightshade is an original character I developed for the portrait series. She is the only sanctioned practitioner of the Necromantic Arts allowed in Queen Victoria’s court and all of the British Empire. Considered by most to be a social and progressive firebrand and a perpetual thorn in the side to other more traditional occultists, her understanding of the Arts is unsurpassed and deeply respected by many.
