I’ve always loved this darker transformation. She feels powerful, chaotic and a little tragic at the same time.

I wanted to focus on that glowing magic in her hands and the moment where curiosity turns into something dangerous.

There’s something both beautiful and unsettling about her, and that contrast was really fun to draw.

The Weight of the Shire

It was a quiet evening in Hobbiton, the stars twinkling like innocent dreams, but Frodo sat alone, the Ring pulsing softly in his pocket like a heartbeat tethering him to shadows. He watched the familiar hills, once full of laughter and warmth, now tainted by the knowledge that they would never be safe again. “To bear this weight alone,” he thought, “is to invite madness.”

Every time he glimpsed the Shire, the colors dulled a little more, as if the Ring siphoned away not just his courage, but also the very essence of what it meant to be home. In his mind, visions of power twisted into treachery—a throne made of gold and ash, where he stood, crowned but alone. He realized then: the corruption was not just in the Ring, but in him—in the fragments of innocence that slipped away with each step deeper into darkness.

Could he still return? Or was he destined to become that which he feared most?
