I love your darksiders au so much already that I wanna draw stuff for it sooo bad! Totally will tag you if I ever get around to drawing stuff for it <3
hell yeah, i'll look forward to it. glad to see my random little idea inspires people
I LOVE your Dark West AU, and it brings me to a question. So Joshua Graham from Fallout New Vegas, if he existed in your AU, how would a meeting between him and your Death go? Would the Pale Rider be another bounty hunter seeking to hunt down the Burned Man? Or is he perhaps seeking out this former Legate of Caesar on the off chance Caesar is the prey instead? A pure happenstance meeting instead? I'm hyperfixated on both Death from Darksiders and Joshua Graham(especially so here lately), so I just wanna know how such a meeting would pan out.
chief i'll be honest with you, i've never played any fallout games. i don't know who joshua graham is, i'm sorry. i wish i could feed your hyperfixation but alas i am ignorant
yippee artfight!!
dark west AU belongs to moi, Squid belongs to @alexatheris-44
me and my friends on discord talked about a darksiders wild west AU and it inspired me to draw a cowboy/bounty hunter death :)

in this concrete road, I ride slow.
my horse put one hooves upon the other, then again, then again. steady. like I taught him.
I can hear faint banjo strings plucking. a certain rhythm over and over. a tune that my paranoid mind registered as a warning jingle. who knows how sharp the fingers who plucked them.
what scares me the most is imagining the possibility of a whole band sitting in the shadows waiting to jump on my ass.
my own thoughts tortured me. the shadows on both of my sides are full of endless possibilities of danger. only that I don't know what kind. if a creature now sprint right at me, should I pull up my talisman, my gun, or my stake? if I made a wrong decision, god knows how would I be then.
I kept trying to fight the urge to gallop this horse of mine. at last be out of this sickening shadows. but i mustn't. you see, they are sleeping, whoever they are, they snore calmly. most of them I assume. so i must keep a steady pace. the tension is eating my chest.
the exit is dead right in front of me. it's getting closer but I feel like we're walking on a treadmill.
so I keep my head low, and I ride...
slow.
