Soooo, something random happened today. I showed a guy how to properly slap the coffee machine for the Espresso because that damn thing is always jamming and there was a line and he was actually very nice! He didn’t care at all when I sat down with him which I hadn’t expected and instead of scoffing at it, he complimented my shirt. The one from United with the collar. Only been getting hate for that one whenever I wore it so far. Turned out he is the son of the Lenfent fashion house. He took me to his dorm and showed me exclusive footage of the upcoming NY FW show. I got to put in a preorder on an indigo suit which will be great for my birthday. If I’m even getting a birthday. Dad still hardly talks to me. Anyway, so Nicolas studies law but he learned to play the violin in a year and he gave me a free show. I’ll invite him for the party. Oh, he also put me on the VIP list for the show. And he’s gay. Just threw it out there, hahaha. You know? I think I actually made a friend. Fancy that. He parties too. Taking him to the Dogs this Saturday which should be fun. Let’s see if he does show up, unlike some. Dinner now.

Dating a vampire really put a dampener on my morning glory if you catch my drift, so lazy morning sex had to be really early pre-sunrise with Armand. With the blood and sheer excitement my body adapted and I had wood more often then not.

We Are Family

It was a nice hotel. Neutral ground. Not a place she would have come to. She was still... getting used to living large. That, and the fact that she had very little by way of funds. She could steal it, of course, and had, but it hardly matched the fortunes others who had not slept for so long had amassed. Still, it was nice. Allesandra glanced to the young immortal at her side.

He had insisted upon coming, though why she was unsure. Everard had wanted her to come alone... and yet Armand had insisted that he should come. She wondered if this would anger Everard. Would it not be better to merely do as he asked? She wondered if Armand feared for her. Feared that Everard may harm her. Or perhaps he feared for Everard? Did he think she would hurt him?

Either way, she thought it foolishness.

The lobby was not busy, but then it was after dark, most people who stayed in fine hotels were either out for the evening, or already tucked into their rooms. It was not yet late enough for the ‘evening outers’ to be returning, nor early enough for people to be really active in the lobby to check in. Armand lead the way to where they were intended to meet with Everard.

Armand claimed he was only coming to spend time with David. Perhaps this was true, but what were the odds that Armand or David either one would want to be very far from this meeting? She looked around slowly, wondering if Everard would make the meeting public... or if they would go to his room. She was unsure which her Brother in the Blood would prefer. But she was grateful that he was even willing to speak with her at all...

Louis hates dressing up, but there is something about Armand that makes him want to dress nicely. He will dress like a slob just to purposefully spite Lestat, and because when Lestat dresses up, it’s usually something too flashy for his taste. But when Armand dresses in his luxury suits, it makes Louis want to impress him. So honestly, most of Louis’ nicest clothes are hanging up somewhere in Trinity Gate.

Armand is pretty much the only person Louis texts on a semi-consistent basis. They check in with each other every month or so, (which is a lot, by vampire standards) because Louis always wants to hear Armand’s opinions on the new movies or art exhibitions or book releases.
