“LOVIS!” Lily stormed into the apartment, Mateo in tow and her hands clenched into fists. Everything about her screamed that she had a huge problem and was extremely angry. “LO - oh. There you are.” Lily paused when she saw her best friend. For a moment, she seemed frozen, then she seemed to remember why she was there. “Whatever you were about to do, don't do it! We have a big problem, and when I say a big problem, I mean a ‘the world is about to explode into a thousand pieces’ problem. This is super important.” The seriousness and tension in Lily's facial features left no doubt that the problem was serious. She glanced over her shoulder at Mateo, only to punch him lightly on the arm a moment later. “I saw that smirk, take this seriously!” She raised her index finger and glared at him angrily before turning back to Lovis. “I'm angry.” Lovis hid her smile better. “I can see that. What's wrong, Lilymouse? Do you want to…” - “No! No time to sit down.” Lily stamped her foot. “What don't you understand about this being important?” She was a little offended that no one seemed to take her very seriously. “I had a fight with Mateo.” Lily put her hands on her hips. “And I'm about to rip his head off. Do you know what he said?!” Lily waited, then blurted out, “He said I'm ugly! Me! Damn it, I'm a damn goddess and he says I'm ugly!” The room fell silent for a moment. “Well, actually…” But Lily interrupted Mateo. “Shut up! It amounts to the same thing. No matter how you try to spin it now!” She gave him an angry look. “What did you say?” Lily was completely ignored as Lovis now turned to Mateo. “I said that nothing could beat my stunning, godlike beauty.” Suddenly, Lily was standing next to Mateo, poking him in the cheek. “I told you so! You called me ugly!” When she was done poking him in the cheek, she moved on to his stomach. “You miserable traitor! What about the other day when you said we were above everyone else? Pah!” If Lily's glances could have killed, Mateo would have dropped dead the moment the discussion started. “Well, if anything, I'm above everyone else and as beautiful as a goddess.” Lily's gaze darted to Lovis. “What?” - “Considering that I am a goddess…” Lovis shrugged. Lily fell silent for a moment, while one could literally see that her mind had started racing. “So you think I’m ugly too?!”
