This #RailwayCityBrewingCo #BlackCoalStout is #surprising #delight in the world of #darkbeers I am so very fond of. Their #BlackCoal #Stout is described as having #tastingnotes of #bitterdarkchocolate #toastedcoffeebeans & freshly baked #ryebread . I can see how people would mostly notice those flavors... ...But to me, there is a hit of #citrus - I think #bergamot in nature - and it is an amazing note in this #symphony of a #beer . Look at that dark color, mahogany-black, with a wonderful froth & kick. #divine I enjoyed drinking one of these, and added another one to our #NewYearsDay #SeafoodGumbo - be sure to check out my post! 𝚜𝚞𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚢 𝚜𝚑𝚎𝚗𝚊𝚗𝚒𝚐𝚊𝚗𝚜... ⠀ ⠀ 1 & 2: Breakfast at Moe Joe’s 3: Incredibly encouraging propaganda— thanks for that, Idaho— it’s been two years, but it’s still weird to see this stuff. 4: Visited the Idaho State Museum and learned about the state’s history, as well as saw the two newer exhibits; visited the banquet room and found this beauty of a stain glass skylight! 5: Beer tasting at Payette Brewing Company - we got two dark flights to share, and Kyle got a Sofa King. 🍻 6: 🤣 Kyle always talks when I video, without fail... 7-8: Saw the actual brewing barrels in action! 9: The downpour started as we arrived at Sockeye Brewing - we tried to walk at Kleiner but the rain started right when we stepped out of the car... 😒 Oh the contemplation of whether to just make a run for it or wait it out... 😂 10: I got the most AMAZING seared ahi burger I’ve ever had, and a Riesling. 😻 Great day! @moejoesbreakfast #moejoesbreakfasteatery #irishbenedict #parentsvisit #idahostatemuseum @payettebrewing #darkbeers #darkbeerflight @sockeyebrew #searedahiburger https://www.instagram.com/p/BxtaiQpnOgq/?igshid=1xawqhgnumoxy
