Cynthia and Grimsley do not get along, however this may be due to the fact that they are two sides of the same coin. They have the same keen-manipulating eye. However, where Cynthia is ultimately on the side of good, Grimsley has a tenancy to wallow in darkness. The fact that he is a member of the Unovan elite only serves to mark him as more of a challenger. Given the opportunity Cynthia would beat him into the dust, if only to take him down a peg.

Alder is trapped in the middle of a passive-aggressive email chain between the two of them. He doesn’t know how to extract himself from the chain and is a little afraid of the consequences if he does.

Grimsley and Cynthia usually start off avoiding each other at Elite events but as the evening progresses they always end up gossiping together. Perhaps the wine helps.
