Do you think the time Yasha is missing in between leaving her tribe and finding the Stormlord is only filled with Obann? Cause I feel like there is something else in those forgotten months that we still don't know about. But I'm with you on the theory that there's some twist about aasimars we're gonna get sometime in the future. Too many coincidences to not be anything, you know, Matthew Mercer and all.
i do think there is something else and technically, we don’t even know how long it was. all we know is what yasha has said and we know she’s an unreliable source because she’s missing time. for all we know, it could be much longer than what yasha thinks.
there has to be a reason why the stormlord took a special interest in a wandering aasimar with no divine connections, someone who isn’t a “holy person”. yasha could’ve just worshipped the stormlord and gone on her way, but he’s taken a special interest in her growth and recovery. he comes to her in dreams and sends storm monsters to fight her. he wants her to get better and prove herself and be everything he knows she can be. there has to be a reason for that.
yasha is the common thread between all of the most dangerous and mysterious aspects of this campaign - obann, the chained oblivion, molly/lucien and whatever comes of that story, trent. like you said, there are too many coincidences at this point.
by definition, aasimar are people who are touched by the divine and the wildemount book literally says they are known to have a “greater cosmic destiny” in exandria. yasha is something more than what we know and i will die on this hill.
