I've been out all day and I've just got back. I'll try to get to some replies but I'm really tired, so they might be done tomorrow instead! c:

Gwen couldn't stop wondering what could have happened to Morgana during that year when she was missing from Camelot. Where had she gone? What had she done? She was happy to get her lady back, but something was different between the two of them. At first she thought it was because they had spent a year apart and she hoped it would pass. But the gap stayed between them and it only grew wider and wider. Morgana was keeping a distance from her, which made Gwen keep it, too. She wanted to tell her about her relationship with Arthur that had grown a lot during that year, but noticing the change in her behavior towards her, she didn't dare to tell it to her. She was still smiling at her, she was still kind, but the confidence between them seemed to have disappeared. Now they were rather a mistress and her handmaiden than two friends. It hurt her, it frightened her and confused her as well. Why was this happening?
She reached Morgana's chambers, carrying a pile of clean bed linen that she had brought up from the laundry. She balanced the pile on her left arm only in order to be able to knock on the door. "My Lady?" she called out. "It's me, Gwen. May I come in?" she asked.
