~One Day~ One day you wake up and it's not there, all the pain you swore would never end. It faded away in the night and when you woke up, everything was new. It's hard to believe you were ever hurt to begin with. One day isn't always soon though, it can be a month or a year, but when it comes, you'll feel light again, like you had before and you know you'll be okay. One day doesn't mean you won't still care. You will, but you won't think of him as much. When you check your messages, you'll be fine to see there's no reply. There won't be any pain. You can't expect one day, it doesn't have a timeframe, it won't always come on Mondays. There's no set week or month it will appear. You can't set your watch to it. It just comes like the wind, unexpectedly. One day means looking back on the good memories and cherishing what you had. It means looking at the bad ones and realizing you still came out stronger. One day isn't the same for everyone. You won't necessarily love your ex or hate your ex. You'll be able to live without them though, realizing life isn't just about one person. In the long-term, it's about every person you've met. Good and bad.

~Emotions~ Emotions are the worst, they cause you to get attached, fall in love and then make it hard to leave when you know it's for the best. You stick around hoping things will change. You only get hurt though and grow bitter, wondering why you can't just flip a switch and turn it off. If you did that though, you wouldn't be living, you'd only be numb. Instead of caring, you'd become carless and who would care about the consequences then?

~If We Were A Movie~ If we were a movie, we'd reconnect together in ten years. I would unexpectedly run into you or you into me. Whichever the script had written. We would both be conveniently single though we had our share of bad relationships. We would connect and reunite while drinking coffee, though you don't like it. Because that's what the script said. Our hands would brush, I'd fall in love with your eyes and we'd almost kiss, but pull alway only to wish we had later. After a crazy turn of events and a dramatic climax, when neither of us were suspicious, we'd fall into each other. And just like a romance movie should be, we'd realize all along we were meant for each other. But this isn't a movie and we don't have a say in how everything happens.

~Retcon~ Can we pause the movie? Rewind it to the beginning and retcon everything that happened? For just one more chance? Because I think we could have made it under different circumstances
