                       Her azure hue’s were magnetically fixed on the Tyrant’s form. There were very few who took audience with the Witch-King alone, even fewer who survived such a meeting. And though her own portents, her own dark mistress assured her of her survival in such an encounter that apprehension and anxiety still lingered within her. She knew at some point she would in some capacity hold a meeting with the dark monarch at some point within her lifetime, if it were not for her divinely dictated station then likely for something else. After all she was intrinsically tied to him, He was her monarch but more than that he was her master. From the moment she was born she was yet another player, another thread in the weave of the Druchii nobility and its dark schemes, when she was enrolled within the dark convent of Ghrond even further were they bound, ritualistically as all sorceresses are, and in the years and months since her awakening to her true calling only further was that tether wound up leading her to this very moment. 

In truth she had been seeking his audience for sometime, whilst she was effective at directing the whims of her goddess by herself, more freedom and resource could be granted with the backing of a Monarch behind her... though with that backing so too was there bound to be certain expectations of her service. And Malekith was not known for his patience. 

And even now all of that expectation had not truly prepared her for their meeting. His very presence was like radiation, even more so as he stood so close, it was like electricity cutting through the air between them. 

Her own movements in comparison to his were demure, soft, and thoughtful. Gentle was her grip as she accepted the cup from him, black painted lips subtly curving to a decorous smile as she murmured a sweet and quiet;

                          “Thank you...”

It was clear how much younger the witch was in comparison to the Witch-King. Though the faces of elves were ageless to mortal man, among their own kind there were clear tells. And if it weren’t for the shared knowledge of her seat of office, one might perceive Ysbryd as but a fresh budding rose against an ancient thorned briar.

he knows little of whom he rebukes but he thinks he would say no different no matter who he was. all he knew was the bastard would give all he desired to see him burn. or maybe ruin was all he desired, death all the monster knew. still it mattered not. the protection of his people, their lives and their safety, were all that matter to him. gone were the dreams and aspirations of his youth. the only thing to remain was the LOVE so distilled in him, and the beast of WAR trained in his chest. ‘ unfortunately for you, if you even try to touch them, you would have to break me first. and i am not well known for my dying. ’
