freddie’s     on     FIRE     today.     his     board     moves     beneath     him     effortlessly,      following     his     directions     with     minimal     effort     &&     maximal     finesse.     he’s     in     the     mood     to     be     a     little     cocky     &&     a     little     dangerous,     &&     he’s     weaving     in     and     out     of     cars     without     regard     for     his     safety     (     or     the     safety     of     others,     for     that     matter     ).     his     heartbeat     is     music     inside     his     chest. 

he’s     just     about     to     jump     off     the     board     when     he     spots     her     —     she’s     headed     across     the     sidewalk,     directly     into     his     path.     fuck.     he     hasn’t     been     paying     attention—     &     he     knows     he’s     not     going     to     have     time     to     stop     if     he     keeps     going     —     fuck.     fuck.     fuck.
