Yuri lifted her head up from the magazine she was holding the moment the pre-recorded voice echoed through the bus. She quickly folded the paper back into her bag, and gently nudged at her sister’s arm.
“Ayame, this is our stop.“
The young woman had her younger sibling get off the vehicle first, and when the two of them were outside, it departed again toward its next stop. The place was quite lively, as expected from one of the biggest districts of Kibougahana.
The Tsukikage sisters were quite the distance away from their usual, more quiet, corners such as their own home, the botanical garden, or the Myodoin Dojo. Yuri had decided that today would be the occasion for Ayame to have her very first trip to the mall.
It was quite close from their mother’s workplace too, and Yuri was convinced that Haruna would be glad to receive a surprise visit from both her daughters.
“The mall is right here.” said Yuri, pointing toward the biggest and most colorful building around, her other hand firmly grasping Ayame’s. “We can also get to the station where Mom works from there. Is there anything you want to see first?“
