I’m okay with people referring to the Winter Soldier as a villain if they mean it in the sense that he’s an antagonist. He is the weapon being wielded by the villain and I’m not sure exactly how to define that in literary terms. If you say Bucky is evil, though, then We Will Have Words.

If you say Stephanie Brown isn’t a Robin, then yes, you could probably hear me from the moon.
