I just watched John Wick 3 and it got me wanting to capture that feeling. What TTRPG system would you recommend to best emulate the style of fights in that series? Bonus points for systems that manage it while 1. not having weapons tables, and 2. not leading to fights between 'high power' combatants being basically rocket tag.

The “I have exactly five minutes to learn a new system” answer: Wushu.

The “I’m willing to do a full milieu transplant“ answer: Don’t Rest Your Head.

The “I’d prefer something with skill checks and hit points” answer: Fate Accelerated Edition.

(Of the three, Don’t Rest Your Head would probably be my personal choice, but it’s also a. the only one of the three that’s not free or pay-what-you-want, and b. by far the most work to suitably reskin, so take that as you will!)

certainly couldn't hurt this seems to be the final season, so if you wanna do one big grand viewing leading up to the finale, now is the time.
