Missouri, 1864. Something has happened down in the south and while the humans are fighting their civil war, an enemy is rising, that no one has ever seen before. Desperately, the Crowe twins Ezra and Penelope try their best to try and find the source of the demonic plague, while they also try to save what is left of their family.
Far away from the ongoing supernatural crises and conflicts in Europe and alarmingly close to the civil war in America, there is another war, led hidden from human eyes. There are some, who stand between the hordes of demons and the unsuspecting humans, but will their efforts be enough to stop their enemy?

Earth, 2016. The nights are getting darker a second time. The guardians of darkness assemble their allies to fight an old enemy, who they never thought would return.
Despite their previous conflicts, everyone has to stick together now, if they want to have a chance to stop their enemy and the end of the world as we know it.
Darkness is about a bunch of people who have one thing in common - they are part of the secret supernatural community. This community has never really been at peace, but about roughly fifty years ago, a threat to all of them began to rise and threw the supernatural world into chaos. Back then they made it. They defeated evil. Will they be able to do it again?
This story is about personal growth, about becoming who you’re meant to be, about family, friends and learning how to hold onto each other, but also how to let go. On the other side, Darkness is about violence, bloodshed, betrayal, revenge and about losing themselves to darkness.

“I know. If everything goes right, this will be the last fight, the last war.” Ana smiled at the thought of it. But part of her was scared. She couldn’t imagine a world at peace - there had been supernatural wars as long as she remembered.
The darkverse covers the darkness trilogy and it’s pre- and sequels. Since this whole prequel-thing got slightly out of hand, I figured I should do a overview post for it. Here, I will provide a list of all prequels in chronological order. Maybe there will be a list of sequels in the future, but the sequels are only in very early planning stages.
