There he was, back against the wall, his leg nervously bouncing on the bench where he sat. Wyatt had, once again, ended up behind bars. It was stupid, really, he'd been on his way home when a cop pulled up and insisted on searching him. Apparently he looked "suspicious."
Unfortunately, as luck would have it, he had Ice on him, as if the charges he'd receive for prostitution wouldn't be enough.
So here he was, waiting to be processed. Normally he'd fuck his way out of the situation, and he definitely intended to try, but he didn't recognize any of the cops here tonight. He nervously chewed at his bottom lip, what if he couldn't get out of it this time? What if this time, there was no one who'd let him go in exchange for his...services.
Wyatt was admittedly very anxious, his arms wrapped protectively around himself. Despite all the shit he'd been arrested for, he'd never actually had to stay in jail more than a few days, more than a weekend at most really.
His eyes darted back and forth, glancing at each officer he could see. He was trying to get a sense for who might be willing to work with him and who wouldn't. It was a bit of a gamble, but it was his best bet.
Wyatt's laughter was cut short when the man didn't get up, he wasn't moving. "Oh fuck..." he let out a panicked breath as he rushed towards him. A quick look at his face told Wyatt the giant of a man was an android.
Did the fall hurt him that badly? It was meant to be a harmless prank, but now...it didn't seem so harmless. Reaching out a hand to poke at the mans face, Wyatt knelt beside him,"A-are you ok, dude?"
He watched Simon fall unconscious before relaxing his grasp on him. He then started carrying the android away to the vehicle parked on the other end of the street. Placing him inside on the back seats Adrian started the engine, pulling out and driving. With Simon out cold the whole ride, he didn’t have trouble taking him there. Once he arrived at his home, Adrian stopped the car and stepped out. He hauled Simon over his shoulder, bringing him inside the building.
Adrian’s home was extravagant. He owned many expensive things and you could get lost exploring the rooms. Moving into one of them which wasn’t normally occupied, he placed Simon on the ground. Looking around, it seemed the place was definitely well kept. Everything felt clean and provided space to move around. Not the type of environment you’d find yourself held hostage inside. Something about it was eerie though. You just couldn’t tell what at first glance.
It would only be natural he played the waiting game. But Adrian didn’t have to be the one who sat there. His android Adonis was instead left in the room with Simon. Standing by the door, the white-haired RK900 watched him. Waiting for any signs of him waking up. His face remaining deadpan the whole time.
Simon remained in stasis through every movement his captor made to get him in and out of the vehicle, as well as into the house. Unlike a limp human body in the same condition, the PL’s body was rigid and awkward to haul, much like one would expect from an inactive android. He remained still for a while after being set down in the vacant room. It took a while before the system that had put him to sleep ran it’s course and allowed him to reactivate.
Pale blue eyes slowly fluttered open, staring at the ceiling for a moment before all of Simon’s system’s came online again and he remembered what had happened before he was forced into stasis. “No!” Simon yelled, suddenly lurching forward into a sitting position. When he spotted a figure at the other end of the room near the door, the PL scrambled backwards away from them. “Who are you? Where am I? What did you do to me? Why-” Simon paused, cutting himself off to try and process everything as his stress levels skyrocketed, climbing several dozen percentage points all at once. As far as he was aware, the white haired RK900 was the person that had kidnapped him in the first place.
It was dark. That usually spelled trouble for people walking alone, and word went around several murders occurred in the community recently. The culprit hadn't been caught yet, rendering the streets unsafe. Eyes were watching Simon's every moments, the masked figure creeping slowly. Once the opportunity was right, he grabbed Simon by the waist and clasped his hand over his mouth, dragging him into the alleyway out of view, looking for a way to shut him down temporarily.
Simon didn’t like being out at night, it was always dangerous, even after the revolution ended. There were still people that hated androids and would find any excuse to hurt them, especially if it was dark out and they thought that would help their chances of getting away with it. But Simon didn’t have a choice tonight. He had been visiting Rachel and time got away from him, so now he had to get back to New Jericho in the dark.
Unfortunately he would never make it.
Simon had the eerie feeling of being watched. He knew there was someone out there sending threats around and had received them himself, so he was even more on guard than normal. But all it took was one slip up.
His obnoxious, broken thermal regulator always acted up at night when he was outside because of the cold. A warning message appeared in his HUD, distracting him for just a small moment, but it was enough for his attacker to get the jump on him. Simon felt hands grabbing at him and pulling him into an alley. The PL tried to call for help as he struggled against the attacker, but his mouth was covered and the cry was muffled. There was no one around close enough to hear it. Simon tried to hit at his captor from behind but the angle was too awkward to get a good punch or kick in.
