Nico chews on his bottom lip and thinks a moment. “I do not even know what to say,” he admit after a long sigh. He folds his arms and leans against the nearest wall. “I’ll think I discover what ah…as you humans say, makes him ‘tick,’ and then he shuts me out. I suppose the sex is quite enjoyable. And there is pain. Which I also enjoy. But…” 

He glances up in thought for a moment, then pans down his gaze to the speaker. “Among our ancestors, it was common for a pair of warriors who fought side-by-side to become intimate with each other.” He shrugs. “I do not know if that is a good analogy, but that’s the closest I’ve got for now. In any case, I can only say that it’s complicated.”
