one thing i really love about maggie stiefvater’s writing is her use of hyperbole (idk if that’s the term i want but it’s the closest i can think of for now) 

i first saw it in the raven cycle when talking about ronan’s birth “the rivers dried up and the cattle [...] wept blood” 

I was so excited to read so much of it in All The Crooked Saints (“the desert loved Pete so much it ...“ or “Marisita’s voice was so well-trained that bulls would lie down when they heard her sing”)

for me it passes the genre of magical realism and sounds more like a folk tale, like a story your grandmother would tell you that her grandmother told her 

forgot the point i was trying to make here but anyway i really love all of steifvater’s passages that contain this literary device

Hello my dark friend, first of all I want to thank you being part of my dark vision and story. This post is about the Updated Version of my e-Book "Decayed Nation - A Bloody Story of Survival” that you can find on my bio’s link. I started my Instagram in March 2018 and all my older followers and friends can remember the story wall I had created back then (you can still see it at my website). I had a vision in my mind to create a storyline about the consequences of Earth’s Pollution, but in a more gore and dark way to shock a bit the society we live in. The book have dark story that would make you angry at sometimes but at the end you will be happy .

Its a dark novel that showed how cruel a man can be if he couldn’t be stopped they would be the giant monster eating everything.

The language of the book is quite perfectly readable to everyone and book can be finished in just one sit.

A story is quite intriguing from the beginning and it keeps you binded throughout.

If you love reading dark novel then must read this book.
