Avric Albright from Descent: Journeys in the Dark 2nd Edition main box. Painted to match the card art as close as I could. Hence some of these color choices looking kinda cartoony, like the trim around his pauldrons for example. I like them to look just like the art from FFG. This makes two of the heroes I've done now, including Ashrian. (I'm painting them alphabetically)
Ashrian from Descent 2nd edition. Painted over the weekend. Some better shots than the comp I made, which Tumblr shows as a little out of focus and loses the detail. These shots are up close and personal leaving nothing to the imagination!
The Druid from Talisman 2nd edition. Finished up this guy over the weekend. I'm typically not one to go overboard with flora on bases but this guy just hollered for it.
Decided to pick up the Nemesis expansion for Relic yesterday instead of the Zombicide expansion after all. Couldn’t resist the call of that Exarch bust mini. I need to paint that!
Finished up the Druid from 3rd edition Talisman before this weekend. Painted as always according to the character card art from the game.
Have a good weekend and get some gaming in!
darkstarminis said: Haha nice, I’m painting this exact model right now…such a great sculpt, well done on the OSL!
Thank you so, so much! That's my favorite part of the whole thing. I may work on him a bit more. Although he wanted the Warlord to be a bit muted, I feel I can do better. Luckily, the rat lives in my house!
Another version of the Talisman 3rd Edition Alchemist that I recently finished up. This time I kept to the colors from the character card of the game. As you can see, those were some vivid colors they chose for this dude. All of the little gems on his robe and hat are all painted there, not sculpted on, again, according to the card art that I was being true to.
