Swing (Inktober 2019 Day 9)

Now that’s more like it!

I’ve been wanting to do a Half-Life fanart for YEARS but nothing I drew ever ended up looking good. Turns out all I needed to do was take the most basic enemy from the game, the Barnacle, and go all out in making it as super detailed and disgusting as I could. Success!

Enchanted (Inktober 2019 Day 7)

THE QUEEN!!!

I’ve been meaning to do Mothra fanart for a while now, she’s so pretty! It was very difficult to find a good reference picture for the wing patterns (since she had so little screen time >:( looking at you WB) so I did the best I could. I feel like this didn’t do the character much justice, so I’m wanting to do a full painting or something soon.

Ring (Inktober 2019 Day 1)

Thus begins the year that I actually finish Inktober for once.

My initial idea was obviously to draw Sadako from the Ring, but I honestly didn't enjoy the movie too much and wanted to draw something else. Eventually I thought of the rings from the Halo series, and the creepy as hell Flood associated with them. A good monster to start the month with!
