I'm here just a few months late to share some (mostly faithful) sketch designs from Across a Burnt Wasteland, the delightful AU written by @kiingleoturtles for last year's Cyberpunk + Desert + Wanderlust prompt. If you didn't yet, WT ARE U DOING?? GO READ IT!!

Please, kindly Ignore the fact Greed's using the shield as a tanktop, I am lazy. Bonus sketches' first sketches (with Dol and Martel too).

Aaah, yes, the things I don't post here....

Don't mind me, folks. Just occasionally making awful things worse as per usual.

My mind has been plaguing me to make something like this ever since their first appearance tbh, but I had refrained myself. Until now. Now I have an entire folder neatly presented on AO3... Haaahhhh I just want a man to ship with this evil dudeee! ARGH.

He's still kinda askew there but This is FINALLY out of my bloody head!!! After, IDK, 9 months?

I can't help but love how Kimblee's paired with everyone. It's hilarious. And it was all fun and games until I stumbled upon a single oneshot (thanks, Deos, whoever and wherever you are) which simply override everything else and became THE brand of poison for me. So I fanarted it:

(Could be better tho. Sorry, Deos). And, yeah, I know. Miles is such a great character and he deserves happiness... BUT DAMN THE WAY THEY'RE WRITEN THERE. IT WAS. WOW. Yet it was only a pint. And after a taste of such a nice, particularly corrosive dynamic... Came, ofc, the infamous state of:

"No fics exactly how you thought? Well, gotta DIY."

So 3 months later I had a considerable amount of sketches (that I thankfully lost or deemed unworthy of including) and 28k words obliterating Miles' Psyche. First drawin up there illustrating the main work's chap 1. Which also means I may or may not end up doing more, eventually. Smn please exorcise me. OG Dynamic Base here.

But when is a sole series ever enough, right??

So, I'm currently trying NOT to ellaborate another timeline.... And I'm failing. Further down, there's my sketches for a medieval fantasy romance AU... That's also a witchcraft horror AU... Except the horror is the romance... Since Briggs already felt like a high-tech Wall of Westeros anyway. Featuring Warden/Knight Miles, Conceptual Destruction Entity Kimblee, sleep deprived artist.

+ slice of life coworkers' sketch bcz I had to make a normal AU for at least 5 minutes.
