this is ridiculous, it’s the third time she’s had to cancel a date for what she was told was an emergency. just like the last two times it was no where near as serious as it was made to seem, and carmen is not pleased as she storms through the building looking for where she’s placed her things. maybe if she’s quick she can still make something happen with the man she’s been trying to get to know better as of late. looking up at the sound of someone entering the room, the woman huffs in irritation. it’s liam, the man she’s been trying to put out of her mind. “i know it may come to a surprise to some of you, but i do have a fucking life outside of running over here every time one of you so much as stubs their toe.” she snaps before she can stop herself, her patience hanging on by a thin thread. carmen won’t bring up her suspicions that liam has been doing this on purpose. the first time had to have been a coincidence, the second time she had her suspicions, and this time she knew that he knew she had plans to go out on a date. carmen specifically remembers letting that information slip while she performed a quick suture on of the other gang members. whatever his reasons for interrupting her life the way he’s been doing, carmen is beginning to get fed up with it.
