𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒𝐍'𝐓 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊. she knows, really, that she should more often, and it gets her into all SORTS of trouble and it always has Mother and Margaret in fits about the scandal she will cause in London this latest week ( and it always, inevitably, does indeed cause a scandal ). but Alice does not care and that is her second greatest fault. the feeling rises in her breast and the words are at her tongue before she even knows what they are, before she can have a chance to even decide if they are impossible or not. oh, but she DOES look so beautiful like this, in the blue gleam of the water like wet moonlight over the curve of her cheek. she never thought someone could stand before jellyfish and look a creature more ethereal. impossible.
