Darth Phobos

Something to keep me from turning into a ball of unbridled stress while waiting for last minute posters to get delivered for the weekend.

Why aren't they here yet. Brain won't let me move onto other work until they show up damn it!

Anyway a quicky paint job as practice because I really want to build up my painting skills as opposed to plain old coloring in that I do (which is way quicker). I went back to my original concept art and compared it to the Hasbro figure - which did a great job on the sculpt but lousy on the face paint. There's a lot more subtle coloring around the eyes in my original and even out 3D models.

But for a figure it's pretty cool.

Speaking of color I still have some of the other color schemes I sent off for approval. I'd post them but I hate them. The one that made it into the game was my favorite so I'm glad Lucas Arts liked that one too.

Had to post a side by side of Phobos and the figure. She's really a character I didn't think would get made because a) she was from our version of TFU b) she's a girl sith and c)It would be way too cool.

I like it when I'm wrong like that.

Have to call out www.rebelscum.com as my choice of Star Wars toy news - they had the Hasbro presentation up nice and quick as always and that's how I found out. Rock on!
