Hi! I was wondering if you have any more details/ideas about Aemond's mermaid appearance? Besides the tail colors reference you have given us, if I do remember the chapters well enough, I think I read something about tattoos and bioluminescent spots? (When he glows in the dark at Luke's house I think?) Would he have the fishy mermaid ears too? Webbed hands? His tail has multiple ornate fins? Like very flowy or more harsh/tough? Thank you ☺️

Yes, Aemond has tattoos all over his torso. Nonfigurative tribal patterns, not modern human tattoos, of course. His nipples are pierced, currently with barbells, and his ears are also pierced but I think he doesn’t have anything in them at the moment.

Yes, if he wants to see in the dark, he needs to turn on his body's bioluminescent mechanism, which results in glowing lilac eye(s) and spots that are like glowing little freckles. 😊

In mer form, his hands are webbed, but only up to the first knuckle. Evolution hasn't finished developing merpeople's webbed hands yet. 😄 He does have the fishy ears.

His tail is more on the hard, muscled side. Aegon's is more flowy, for example. He doesn't have a lot of small side fins, and his two main ones also have a smooth shape, which makes for a pretty and masculine tail in his opinion. He loves his tail and takes good care of it.
