. Wow, cool perspective . - AhhhhhhhMAZING!!!!!! Have to say one of the most magical sunsets of my life floating & diving over a reef watching I don’t know how many thousands of convict tangs spawning at the tip of my @cressi1946 fins (& new Save Manta pants available on @oneoceandesigns 💙🥞🦈) and the excited predators (Black tip reef and grey reef sharks and grouper and napoleon wrass) rushing to devour them as they darted up in the water column fertilizing the eggs the females would release. The process of natural selection and the sharks ability to only catch the slowest fish (who were still extremely fast) lends to Darwin’s theory of natural selection that only the strongest and fittest survive, too slow and they get caught, assuring each generation will pass on the stronger genetic traits of those who survive, further strengthening the species and the health and numbers of possibly millions of spawning convict tangs.
