☀ SHRI VARAHA DEVA ॐ ☀
wait, so does Vishnu have to live a full life every time he comes to Earth as a part of the Dashavatar? Or does he just choose to do so, when he came down as Ram or Krishna?
He choose to do so
Because Krishna and Ram were Purna Avatar
Well Krishna is considered Purna Avatar
But both Krishna and Ram avatars purpose was to be human and do stuff
That was what was necessary. Ravan needed to be killed by a human.
Mahabharat needed someone who was as God as a God can be and also as human as a human can be (when he's an avatar I mean)
But the other avatars had different purposes like Matsya's purpose was to sail the boat, Kurma's purpose was supporting the mountain during Samudra Manthan
They didn't needed to be born and die a full like.
But Parashuram needed to he's still alive btw he won't die lol
Vamana needed to be born but not die like a human ig...
Buddha also needed to live like a human.
Kalki would need to be born like a human and live a full life.
So yeah... It depends on the purpose of the avatar he's taking
