It’s my tag for Tom, because he’s a dashing, debonaire, attractive man but he’s also one of the biggest, softest, kindest Hufflepuffs I’ve ever seen.

Tom Hiddleston responds to all those Bond rumours

The James Bond franchise has descended into a kind of mania of late. The world is scrambling to crown the new 007, favours flitting from actor to actor; all while it still remains officially undecided whether Daniel Craig will even be leaving the franchise in the first place.

This includes both Tom’s statement and a reference to Sam Mendes’ comment on how the role of Bond is not a democracy and the person cast is never who you would expect. Both of these statements came out before Tom and Taylor announced their relationship.

I know the tabloids haven’t listened to either Tom or Sam Mendes about this, but can WE at least stop yelling about how much “””Tom wants Bond”””” and is “””only dating Taylor to raise his profile”””? 

It’s so insulting to him. Not to mention it’s just a gigantic waste of breath. Seriously.
