Urusei Yatsura Data File 14
So, each of the double volumes of Urusei Yatsura has these fun little “data files”. I skipped them on my first readthrough because I’m the sort of person who considers the mentioning events I haven’t read about yet as “spoilers”. If you are of the same cloth, I’d avoid reading through these. But now that I’ve read the series, they’re a lot of fun. They don’t really contain any information that wasn’t covered by the series, but with how many volumes of Urusei Yatsura there are, it is nice to be reminded of certain stuff. Especially if it shows up once and is never mentioned again. These are not written or compiled by Rumiko Takahashi. So while they are official, they can be thought of as sanctioned fan content. These translations come from the officially licensed VIZ manga volumes and I appreciate VIZ including them.
So, there are a lot of these (one for each volumes, so two per the double volumes) so it is going to take me a bit of time to post all of them.
Everyone loves Lum's looks. I am not a big fashion guy, but it is always fun to see Rumiko experiment with her looks.
Harrison’s data file;
Pre-war - Lucy’s Boss in charge of giving out jobs from gangs and his personal tasks
Current occupation - supernatural being and second in charge of Nuka World in case of Lucy and Gage missing, also a tactical leader for fellow raiders
Data file #4: Original Kyurem
The original dragon described in the legends of Unova was, at the time, known by several names. It was interchangeably referred to as “Reshiram,” “Zekrom” and “Kyurem,” among others. If classified in a modern Pokédex, it would be classed as a form of Kyurem, called “Fusion Kyurem.”
In order to recreate Fusion Kyurem after its division into Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem, all three dragons would need to be present (the former two could either already be in stone form or be reverted at the time of the fusion.) One would also need to possess two DNA Splicers and use them both at the same time - Kyurem cannot fuse with one of the dragons and then the other, it must fuse with them both simultaneously.
Fusion Kyurem physically has traits of both White Kyurem and Black Kyurem at the same time. It is pure Dragon-type and can use the signature moves of all three Pokémon comprising its body. While it does not possess same-type power boosts for Fire-type and Electric-type moves, its ability, Cold Fusion, gives it the same type of boost for Ice-type moves without being an Ice-type. This functions similarly to Dhelmise’s Steelworker ability.
