Law isn’t a very hey let’s go out and do things sort of person so when he sent you a message to meet up you were a little confused. Normally your dates were planned well in advance and to the letter but this one was so out of the blue. 

You walked down the street, a nice afternoon, warm and bright but not too stuffy. You look at your phone, following the little map to the street Law told you to meet him at. He’s stood there looking at his phone before he glances up and see’s you.

He puts his phone away and walks towards you, offering his hand which you took. It’s a big step, he’s not very into PDA but he seems excited which is always a nice thing, his smile when he does smile is so happy and bright. 

Law is wearing jeans, he seems to live in them. A collared shirt that's open to show off his tattoo. You managed to pull your gaze away from the pattern and meet his, smiling. “So what were you so excited about?” 

“There’s a bookfair, down here.” He says and juts his chin in a direction, and you look down the street. Lining either side was stalls, most had stacks of books laid out, some other stalls dotted between them but very much mostly cool antiques and books.

You smile when you feel him pull your hand, wanting to see all the things on display. You both spend the afternoon looking through all the old books, the tables covered in nicknacks. You both end up with a large bag of books, Law seemed elated as he stuffs another book into the bag, a dusty book from the1800s about medical procedures, he liked to compare what the world knew now to what they didn’t. 

Enjoyed the old fashion diagrams. He had a collection. It was nice, he chatted animatedly each time he picked up a book, and listened to you when you showed an interest in certain ones. It was a nice afternoon. 

“Do you want to grab a coffee?” He asked, still holding your hand and looking at you, you nod “Sounds good!”

That kind of goes against everything I said and did before in this event? hahahah I guess I’m not so sure who to ask out, when Charlie is not an option!!!

Hongo was a casual guy, he didn’t like to plan too far ahead or put too much thought into plans. He just liked to have a good time and you were both still getting to know one another so he tried not to put too much pressure on things, on himself, on you.

You’d gotten a message about where to meet him and you stood outside the large building. It looked like a bar, the front was covered in ivy, and string lights dangled across the front of it. You were thankful for the nice summer evening air.

The night was still young, the sky a beautiful inky blue. You looked at your phone, it was getting dangerously close to the time you were meant to meet, and still no sign of Hongo. He thankfully appeared around the corner. 

Dark jeans, nice shoes, and a striped dress shirt open enough to show off his chest. His hair in a little manbun that you like to playfully tease him about. He greeted you with an arm around your waist and a kiss on your cheek.

“I thought I was gunna be late for a sec.. Anyway, I thought we could grab dinner here and a few drinks?” He said with a chuckle and you nodded.

The inside of the bar was, loud, louder than you’d have liked but he carried on leading you through the crowded building, out the back to a lovely garden. Big trees, picnic tables, and grass There were much fewer people in the outside area.

It was well-lit, more string lights and lanterns on the tables. He grabbed a blanket from the stack that was offered to customers when it got a little chilly outside. Sitting down at the table he gave you a smile and draped the blanket over you, kissing the side of your head.

This was maybe your third date and the relationship was so new but you had a good feeling about this. The night was full of food, drinks, and conversation. Getting to know one another even more that lovely summer night.

Marco works strange hours, he could be busy for weeks or only able to see you late at night. When he does get a few days off you are his first and main priority. He sends you a message, inviting you out for dinner and drinks, which you jump at.

Exited to see your boyfriend, it’s been too long since you got to see his smile, see those beautiful blue eyes of his, and get to hold his hand. You loved how small your hand felt in his. You looked at your phone for the address he’d sent, you knew the area.

It was late afternoon, the sky was ablaze with oranges and yellows casting a gorgeous glow across the sand of the beach. You walked down the sidewalk, unable to pull your gaze away from how the sea lapped at the sand. This area was beautiful, somewhere you and Marco often came.

Your spot.

But you didn’t recognise the place Marco was standing outside of, waiting for you. He waved when he noticed you. Pushing himself off of the wall and walking over to you. He was wearing sandals, capri pants, and a loose-fitting purple shirt. Sunglasses perched on his mop of hair as he leaned down and pulled you into his arms.

“Been too long,” He sighed and kissed your cheek as you melted into his touch. “Too long,”

He led you to the restaurant, beachside with a full menu of delicious sounding food and even better drinks. Cocktails and mocktails of the brightest colors and wildest flavors. As you waited for your food you sat across from one another, catching up, talking about everything that had happened since you’d seen one another.

His hand across the table, holding yours as he listened happily.
