Daemon/Deenah is an obvious trans metaphor but I think of them also as a very strange-yet-effective disability metaphor, especially for progressive disabilities. Memory issues, jumbled thoughts and actions, etc. but just the way he despises his "old self" (Deenah) yet at the same time you can tell he wishes for her back. Just to experience a life without struggle. It's that feeling one experiences when they remember how much more able they used to be. Feels like an entirely different person. Deenah's all dressed up with her long trenchcoat and glasses and a cultivated aesthetic but her sprite is marred by pixels like the very thought of her has been corrupted by Daemon knowing what's to come. He wears a variation on her outfit, but it's so much harder to make out beneath layers of pixels - it's Daemon, in the end, but he hides from us players. He's uncomfortable knowing we can see right through him, pick out the turmoil. The sometimes-feeling of being trapped in a conversation with him, not so unlike how conversations feel nowadays - you end up going in circles just complaining about your problems or saying something that only makes sense in your head, not realising you make no sense until after you've spoken.

its so interesting to me how few people actually discover date everything daemon, especially in early game, even though he's located right next to the bed that you're made to use daily. i get the feeling devs were expecting the dresser to be one of the first objects players try to romance, but turns out its far from that lol.
Aaaaaaand now I’m caught in a loop with the Scandalabra, Bev, and Abel. Does anyone know how to fix it? I cleaned Abel that one time but now I don’t think he’s giving new dialogue and I thiiink I’ve been to all the tables. Also the freaking scandalabra keeps asking for a kiss dude I have clicked the option to do so numerous times so stfu and become a human already. And Bev keeps telling me she didn’t think I’d want to see her again but girl I’ve seen u like three times just let me finish ur arc so I can make u u a real girl jajjdjekdndjejdhej!!! If anyone knows how to fix it pls tell me!
Idk if anyone else has had this problem but like, I'm unable to find Curt and Rod's last or last handful of spots to talk, I haven't been allowed past Lyric sharing the first book with Celia, Florence, and Wall either.
Used a candy to fix my relationship with Dishy but now he's not going past downloading the update aaaand can't find the rat for Vaughtrap
Idk what to do since I've clicked on every spot I can multiple times and I've already realized half the house! TwT

Heeeeelp Gaia’s broken. She keeps not acknowledging that I have met travelers when I have literally met everyone in this entire game!!! And the game won’t let me realize any of the travelers until I talk to Gaia but Gaia won’t let me talk so that’s like sixteen characters I think that I can’t realize and that’s very rude!!! Has anyone managed to fix this or are they working on this bug or am I just doomed?
