weird first date story??

i just had a ... weird first date.

so just before the date i looked at his twitter, he’d just posted that he’s about to go on a really good date and i was like uhh ok that’s a lil weird but sure

so i meet up with him and we go to this beachside park, and it’s nice. he’s telling me about the area a bit and we’re like an hour or 1 1/2 hours into the date. and then it goes kinda quiet and he goes “wanna make out?” -- there are people (lots of families) all around and it’s like 2 pm and i’m like uhh i don’t realy feel comfortable with that on the first date (especially out in public!!! but i like you and i’m enjoying being with you!

and i s2g after that the whole date was just awkward. so we ended up taking the bus home and he’s like “ok, i had fun, i’ll hit you up sometime in the future” and i’m like uh what the FUCK kinda goodbye is that?

So...

I saw this and inmediatly think about this dude I was hanging with. Whenever he was busy or at work he send voice messages, one day he apologized for giving me short answers when he was rushing at work, I told him he doesn't have to answer if he have no time to it, it was all fine for me, but he said "nah, you deserve that I give my time to reply you"

And

Then he stop talking to me, and months later text to tell me he kept seeing his ex girlfriend the hole time we date, that he still love her but she have just married someone else.

Fuck that shit. Trust no one.

There’s this guy that I went to hs with and I always had a crush on him. Well, him and I have been texting back and forth and it’s been okay BUT last night I could screamed. This man called me in the middle of the night. I thought he might’ve needed help. That was not the case. This man felt the need to tell me (at like 2 AM) about the fact he thinks Larry the Lobster (from SpongeBob) fucks fish bitches 💀

Today, I was thinking about how awkward first dates are. I remember my first date during college, it was a theatre workshop (weird, I know) and how he left the first day, after indulging in a fight with the head of the thing, and I stayed back, completed the workshop and made friends who are still around.

day 16?: reflecting on that time a date took me to a sushi restaurant and they went to the bathroom and I thought it’d be a great idea to try wasabi so I stuck a giant piece in my mouth and visibly suffered enough that the waitress was concerned for my life and then I swiftly recovered before my date came back and they had no idea this happened until I drunkenly told them a month later
