Given how relevant it still all is... it does make me want to put out #10... #10 always just felt like a "hey man, american society sucks and as queer young women we are highly aware of that now..." which isn't the happiest of endings but that world will never really end...

I have the time to put out the last paper dolls book but do I have the time or the mental fortitude to read all 9 paper dolls books in order to remember where we were even going??? That is the question... (we really did only intend to write 1 book so this is actually fucking hilarious in the grand scheme of things) we had no idea how popular this would be

Book 10? Love the series! Hopefully we can get another book soon ❤️

we've written many different versions of book 10 and I think that's the whole issue. we have to decide which version we like the most and right now we're not fully happy with any of the many versions that exist.

we do hope to have a book 10 eventually!

is there going to be a next book in the series, that cliffhanger was crazy

we love a cliffhanger! there was always intended to be a next book. we have written about five different versions of that next book and we have not been able to land on what we actually want, which is the whole problem! i do hope we get it out there eventually though!

we have written more and not published more... hopefully one day. we hit a stall when we couldn't figure out exactly what we wanted for book 10 but we are still in contact and still write all the time so we will probably one day publish book 10 and possibly more

I think Avery would get Olivia something music related, like a cd, record, dvd of a musical she likes, or sheet music for a soundtrack, etc. And I feel like Olivia would be more of an experience giver, like a fancy dinner and a night at a hotel or something like that

Do you ever feel like Olivia takes away from Avery’s trauma sometimes? I feel like there are times when Avery will go through something and then somehow Olivia ends up the “weak” one (not actually weak, they’re both badass) and Avery has to take care of her and put her back together, when it should be the other way around. Is that just apart of the emotional immaturity they’re both lacking from their age/experiences? I’d love to see more of Avery completely unraveling and Olivia staying strong the whole time to take care of her, not needing to be taken care of once Avery is feeling better

That is definitly a factor in their relationship. I'm happy you picked up on it! I wanted Avery to go through having to figure out that she can't always be the strong one, that her tendency to suck it up and push her issues down is going to catch up with her. It's something that I highlight in our current WIP.

Neither of them can really help their natural reactions and you're right that their age and maturity plays a factor. Neither of them have ever really known how to deal with trauma in a healthy way.

Are you guys still continuing this series?? It’s been so long

We do intend to, we are just very slow. PLUS we were having serious issues on deciding what we felt comfortable doing with book ten. We've gone back and forth on it many times. Nothing feels exactly right and that's the issue.

Just putting it out there in the universe...going re-start the series...hopefully by the time i reach the end we get something🤞❤️
