Love Photographs (Peter Parker x Reader)

Anonymous asked: ik this is gonna sound creepy but i remember you reblogged a date idea post about a photo shoot thing and how you wanted to write something based off that and i was wondering if you ever did??? if not i think it's a great story line

Date idea: going out on a photoshoot with them and they go in to alter your hair and as they push it behind your ear they lean in and kiss you slowly.

For your one-year anniversary, Peter planned to give you a photo album full of photographs he had taken of you, himself, and the pair of you together. He loved you so much, and he wanted to show you why, through his photography. But, he knew he was missing something.

He remembered your first date, and how he had chosen to leave his camera behind, not wanting you to think he was some kind of stalker. And oh, how he regretted that decision. After dinner at your (and now his) favorite restaurant, you had asked Peter to go on a walk with you in Central Park - you were in the city after all, and you didn’t want to pass up one of your favorite places on such a perfect day.

Walking through the park, you skipped down the paths, ahead of Peter, reveling in the cool breezes flowing through the trees. What you hadn’t noticed was how Peter was admiring you from afar - the way your hair seemed to glow when the setting sun’s light hit it just right; how your smile seemed to grow wider and brighter with every passing second; or how you got so lost and seemed so happy and divine in your own little paradise. Ever since that day, Peter swore he would never leave his camera behind - he had to capture every moment he was with you, so he could soon show you all the reasons why he fell in love with you the very moment he saw you.

It was a beautiful Saturday morning, and Peter had everything set. The reservation at your favorite restaurant, the flowers, his gift - one of many - and his camera. As he waited on the steps of your brownstone, he couldn’t help but tug at the collar of his shirt; he was so nervous. Not because he thought something would go wrong; he was simply scared he wouldn’t be able to capture those same moments he so dearly held on to for the past 12 months.

Yet, all his worries dissipated the moment he saw you walk out onto your porch. You twirled around, showing off Peter’s favorite maroon sun dress of yours, your hair cascading down your back in perfect waves. You bounded down the steps, wrapping your arms around Peter’s neck, placing a small kiss on his exposed collarbone, then his cheek, and finally his lips. Pulling away, you twirled once more.

“Like what you see, Parker?” You giggled, winking as Peter blushed, pulling at his collar as he remembered your lips on his collarbone.

“Always, my love.”

Dinner went just as planned, and the sun was still in the sky when you pulled on Peter’s hand, leading the way to the park. Peter laughed, enjoying how everything was going the same way it had all those months ago. Pulling his camera out of his bag, he snapped a few shots of you skipping ahead of him, turning to face him while walking backwards, and his personal favorite - you making grabby hands at him while pouting. After finding a free patch of grass to lay down upon, Peter laid out the blanket he brought, where you happily laid down after all your skipping, while Peter adjusted his camera.

“Aren’t you going to join me, lover boy?” You raised your eyebrow as you watched your boyfriend continue to stand across from you, playing around with his camera.

“I will, after we have this little photo shoot, my love. Sound like a plan?”

“Alright, but you better make me look good, Pete!”

“Anything for you, Y/N.”

Peter told you to pose however you wanted, so you started the way you knew best - lying down on your side, your eyes closed. Peter squatted down, taking a few shots of you fake-sleeping before he helped you up. After a couple shots of you playing with a dog walking nearby, you walked back to your spot. Before sitting down, Peter grabbed your hand, turning you towards him.

“What’s up, Pete?”

“Here, let me fix your hair, baby,” Peter set his camera down on the blanket, and reached out to smooth out your hair. He ran his fingers through your hair, letting it fall down your back. A few loose strands were sticking to your forehead, and as Peter tucked them behind your ear, his free hand cupped your cheek. You leaned into his touch, smiling as you met his warm brown eyes. His hand fell to your waist, pulling you close to him, and just as he leaned in to kiss you, he whispered against your lips, “I love you, Y/N. Forever.”

“Forever, Peter.”

Date idea: finishing a tv show finally that you’ve started together, and when you do they bring out a cake saying ‘congratulations on finishing ______ (show name)!’

Date idea: go to an art gallery together & get photos taken of each other with the art pieces.

Date idea: going out for a drive in the crisp almost fall weather. No jacket needed but when they offer you take it anyways.
