I am OBSESSED with this concept...SOA x TLB??? Two of my favorite things on earth, combined???? Tell me if you want more of this 🖤

🩸 Vampires don't burn in the sun in this version, obviously. They are, however, light sensitive to varying degrees and most prefer the night. But the boys are willing to confront the day in order to blend in a bit better.

🩸Most of Charming doesn't know the truth, besides a select few, thinking that the club is only involved in illegal shit and not, ya know, actual vampires. But some people notice...the fact that the boys never seem to sleep (they don't have to), can withstand wounds that would topple anyone else (it takes a lot more then a gunshot to kill a vampire), they always drink and dance and party, never seeming to stop (why should it when you have forever and ever to enjoy yourself?).

🩸 Also, a thought...some thugs kidnap you and your vampire comes to save you. Bullets fly, clearly wounding him...but he gets up from the ground so smoothly and just keeps walking towards them, eyes aglow and fangs flashing in the moonlight.

🩸 Crow Eaters are humans who wish to be turned and service the vampires in an effort to gain this...most simply become dinner, though.

🩸 Vampires either have red, gold, or orange glowing eyes and typically use contacts to hide them when around humans. But the intense, unearthly glow still lingers beneath the false color, caught by a curious glance...

🩸 The clubs around the world serve as covers, new human identities awaiting in each one. Once one vampire is too old and people might start to question the fact that he's alive/not aging, he fakes his death and moves onto a new club for a time(which is how Chibs came to be here, he's one of the oldest in the entire club being a few hundred at this point).

🩸 Jax is actually a dhampir, born to a vampiric father and human mother (Gemma had not yet been turned at that point) and a big part of his story is the question of whether or not a "halfling" should be allowed to run the club.

🩸 Many of their enemies and allies are also inhuman...other vampires, were-creatures of all types (wolves are more common but there are others), witches and warlocks, demons, and many more terrible monsters that roan the night.

🩸 There are also hunters, seemingly human but with inhuman abilities that fight against them, and a hunter x vampire love story here would be VERY interesting.

🩸 You're new to town, brought here after the unexplained vanishing of your older brother. And right away, you notice the loud, passionate, strange men on motorcycles, warned to stay away from them (by the sage and slightly insane old fella in town, as horror story tradition goes)...such a sweet little creature like you has no business being around monsters like that. Of course, you think it's because they've got a bad rep and try to do just that.

🩸 But he notices you too, one of the members keeping a close eye on you...and once a vampire decides that he wants something, he'll do whatever it takes to get it.

Romantic thoughts:

🥀 Chibs is stunned to realize that you, this young woman who appeared one night, look exactly like a lost love for so long ago...and at first he thinks that's all it is, an uncanny resemblance. But you talk like her, laugh like her, have strange marks on your body that match the wounds that killed her (born with them, you declare when asked), seem to know him without having ever met him at all...and he realizes that, perhaps, his love has been reborn.

🥀 Jax knows how innocent you are and maybe that's part of why he likes you, wanting to corrupt you a little bit. Is that truly so bad? Is it so strange that a beast wants the the love of a beauty? He adores the thought of his innocent lover becoming a monster, born of his venom and his forevermore.

🥀 Opposite to that, Happy wants to preserve your innocence and sweetness, the vampire protecting you at all costs. That isn't to say that he won't turn you, of course he will, he just wants you to forever be this sweet little thing he fell in love with! Once you're tangled up in his world, there's no turning back, Happy wanting nothing else but to keep you safe and sound.

🥀 Juice quickly realizes that you are no human...you are a dhampir (which are much better at blending in and can even go unnoticed by other vampires if they're careful), the daughter of a powerful vampire lord who ran away after your father's murder and very quickly, he's tangled up in you.
