Dust has settled on the Writer's Digest Conference. Finally have a moment to post pics from day 3! PitchSlam survivors got to take awesome photos. Took this one with @kylina_jordan, a fabulously intelligent writer whose encouragement proved to be a fantastic presence throughout the conference. David Levithan gave such a perfectly honest, helpful and hilarious closing keynote. Panels were so helpful. Jane Friedman and Fauzia Burke gave me so many tools to succeed. Won the giveaway from Date with a Muse and @annalisaparent! More books and tools to use! Got coffee with my cousin, @kelseylian1! So lovely she could make the time to meet me. Saw some more weird sites around the city, i was unaware snorkeling blazers were "the thing." Disappointed the Toho store wasn't kaiju-related. Made a quick pitstop by Drumph Tower #makedonalddrumphagain. Didn't have resources to make a sign, so I sent a message I knew he'd understand! And finally crossed the threshold through a tunnel and beside planes to new adventures on the writer's journey. I'm exhausted yet simultaneously invigorated. An exorbitant amount work to be done after the event and thank you for such an amazing conference, @writersdigest! This truly was on another level!
