Zim episode where Tak returns and hypnotizes everyone, even Dib, into thinking she’s his sister. Only Zim knows the truth, but Dib won’t listen to Zim. He thinks he and Tak are like a dream team dedicated to exposing Zim's evil together and Zim knows he's no match for their combined strength and is just trying to gaslight him into turning on his beloved sister. Zim figures the only way to make Dib believe him is to locate where she's hidden Gaz away, but even after he finds her in the care of a robot decoy family, neither of them feel a familial bond that stokes their memories. It's only when Zim decloaks Tak that Dib finally accepts the truth, and is heartbroken that all his memories of growing up with her were fake. In true cynical Zim fashion, neither Dib or Gaz are thrilled to have the status quo restored. Gaz was happier as an only child without an annoying brother and Dib was happier with a sister who shared his interests. Gaz is more open and brutally honest about it while Dib tries to pretend like he's not disappointed and the episode ends with them both resenting each other more than they already did.
