While he gives his fair share of verbal affection, Baekhyun is very physical when it comes to giving you love. Lots of hugs and kisses.
He was so nervous. He rambled and stammered, pulled at the sleeves of his sweater and played with his hair, until you finally caught on and asked if he was asking you out.
Baekhyun always wants a cuddle. He clings to you like a koala, draping his arms and legs over your body, snuggling into your warmth.
Dates with him are mostly chill and fun. He’ll take you to the aquarium, the arcade, and the roller rink.
He loves that you get along with the other members. After you all hang out, you’ll catch him grinning on the way home.
“Why are you smiling?” you ask.
Arguments are loud, but he can’t stay mad at you for long. He hugs you from behind and kisses your shoulderblade.
“Are you still mad at me? I’m really sorry, we can talk about it if you want. I miss you.”
You have a little plushie collection thanks to Baekhyun. He takes home all the ones that he proclaims are “as cute as you.”
"I can’t believe we’re living together,” Baekhyun says. He wraps you in his arms and kisses you on the nose.
“It is a nice place,” you reply.
“Our place,” he grins, before kissing you again.
He’s in love with your love. He thinks that you have the biggest heart out of everyone in the world, and all he wants to do is pay it back tenfold.
Baekhyun definitely gets jealous. He’ll pout until he gets your attention, and sometimes even resorts to light PDA to get you out of a situation.
He sprinkles kisses all over your face. On closed eyelids and foreheads, noses and corners of lips. He’ll give you butterfly kisses and eskimo kisses, and giggles into every single one.
"Let’s stay in today.” Baekhyun only hums in reply, so you say, “You can teach me how to play that game you like?”
He shoots up, bedhead sticking in every direction. “Really?!” He tackles you and gives you quick pecks on the lips. “I love you, I love you, I love you!” he says.
When you attempt to roll out of bed, he grabs you and pulls you back in. He mumbles your name in a sleepy voice and begs for five more minutes.
He’ll call you wifey/husband and also something completely embarrassing just to make you mad.
He’s uncharacteristically quiet when his daughter is born. He holds her for the first time, his eyes so full of love and worship.
“I love you so much,” he tells her, and holds her closer to his chest.
He’s all for PDA. He’ll play with your hands, surprise you with kisses, and peck you on the cheek no matter who’s watching.
When he actually feels like being quiet, Baekhyun will hold your hand. He’ll drum little rhythms, kiss your knuckles, and run his thumb up the side.
“I made you breakfast in bed?”
The tray in his hands has nothing but a bowl of cereal. Baekhyun laughs sheepishly. “I tried to make eggs but that didn’t work out. And turns out I can’t make toast very well either -”
You cut him off with a kiss. “Thank you.”
He’ll serenade you at any moment, be it an EXO song or random nonsense that he’s coming up with on the spot. He sings for you unabashedly, crooning sweet notes that make you smile.
He loves to give you hugs. He just really loves to hold you in his arms.
Baekhyun can tell when you’re being serious, so he gives you the space you need. He’ll come and find you later with your favorite ice cream in hand.
You can tell when it’s getting to him. When the stress and strain of being a performer, combined with an influx of negative comments, causes him to become tense. He collapses into your arms and lets you stroke his hair as he tells you all of his frustrations.
In the mornings, the two of you brush your teeth together. He’ll make faces at you in the mirror, and before long it becomes a competition to see who can make a sillier expression.
Baekhyun is a huge tease, and loves to drive you to your breaking point before giving you what you want.
“Do you want more? You’re gonna have to tell me, baby.”
“She’s ours,” Baekhyun says, passing her to you. You notice something on her collar.
“Baekhyun?” When you look at him, he’s on his knee, a hopeful smile on his face.
Baekhyun giggles and kisses you one more time. “I love you so much.”
