In Canada Happy Canada Day, everyone! The line that always gets me is “there’s Canadian Tire money in at least one kitchen drawer”. XD
In Canada - Dave and Chris Hadfield
HEAR: Everyday is Canada Day
You know Chris Hadfield. He is the retired Canadian astronaut who took all of us aboard the space station with him and taught us how to brush our teeth in zero gravity. He's also a singer and a David Bowie fan.
And then there is Chris' brother Dave who is also a singer and a songwriter and a proud Canadian.
I want to be part of this family.
Here is their song celebrating the greatest county in the world. But first, couple of notes:
Love the Ontario cottage guys! (Or 'cabin' it you live on the west coast.)
For my BC friends, milk does come in bags that you sit in a little plastic pitcher. I don't know why -- but I miss that.
Favourite line that epitomizes being a Canadian: "You stay out of my face. I'll stay out of yours."
Happy Canada!
Sorry we're late.
"A polite song from two brothers who are just hoping your day is going okay."
Written by Dave Hadfield in honour of Canada's birthday, performed by brothers Dave and Chris (you know, the astronaut) Hadfield.
This is basically what we’re about, for any American people wondering.
