El villano Plankton está teniendo problemas con su socia criminal y necesita de la ayuda de Bob Esponja para recuperarla y volver a las andadas. ¿Aprenderá la lección?
Una historia muy sencilla en la que descubrimos parte del pasado de Plankton y somos testigos del tipo de situaciones ridículas a las que nos tiene acostumbrados esta franquicia. La animación es bastante buena pero no destaca por su originalidad, aunque cumple bastante bien. Da la sensación de que no había tanto dinero para ofrecer un acabado más cinematográfico.
Es para niños, pero es entretenida.
