"My challenge to Christians:
Read Mark's gospel straight through (come on, it takes less time than a movie!).
Have a big glass of wine, then read John's gospel straight through. Trust me, you'll need the wine.
John created a Jesus character that differs radically from Mark's Jesus.
Two theologians, two Jesuses."

If Xians want to know why non-believers don't believe them, it's because Xians made it unbelievable.
I will always be bitter about the fact we were denied Rachel defending Chloe against David in Hell Is Empty and we were forced to sympathize with the man who would become Chloe’s abuser and make her feel like a prisoner in her own home for the next 3 years. Fuck Deck Nine for villainizing Chloe for not giving this asshole a chance. Fuck Deck Nine for taking Rachel away in episode 3. And fuck Deck Nine for making us constantly giving Chloe’s abuser a chance. Chloe doesn’t owe David or Joyce(normalizing and ignoring abuse is still complicit to child abuse) a damn thing.

I saw another post on Tumblr inspired by this BuzzFeed quiz and, dammit, I had to do a version for Worthy.

The best thing about Cody fern transitioning from ACS Versace to AHS Apocalypse is seeing that he’s finally getting the love and attention he deserves :,-)
The gospels and Acts are chock full of magical thinking, fantasy, miracle folklore.
All of which would be dismissed by the devout if they came across such stories in the scriptures of other religions, Harry Potter novels, or Disney adventures.

Obvious fantasy genre is obvious.
“Earlier in Western history, the Bible as a whole could stand without qualification as God's Word, but intensive research has destroyed this notion. By doing their job so well, generations of Biblical scholars, usually devout believers, face the irony that the Bible misses the mark as reliable history, and isn't all that great morally or spiritually.”
