Hundred Years Late "The Slumber Boat"
This is one of the most interesting projects that has crossed my way in a very long time. Hundred Years Late is what the name suggests: Songs recorded 100 years ago which are brought into the modern times to be a bit more accessible to the modern listener. The project was started by David Nelligan who started it as part of his master thesis. Initially he encouraged musicians to engage to delve into the archives and put their own spin on the songs they discover. Within this year David would also find some music, he covered with the help of some of his favourite musicians. It's called "Some Popular Songs from 1914" and will be released on the 15th of December.
