Sun Status 3

I entered the Elite Four with my team at Level 56 with my starter at 58.

My team consists of:

A.B. the Decidueye (not their real name, just initials)

Mickey the Raichu

Leonardo the Carracosta

Brain Bender the Metagross

King Louie the Mimikyu

Doofenshmirtz the Turtonator

SPOILERS BELOW!

I did reasonably well during the elites, with King Louie tanking the Z-Moves. Whoops, looks like dropping a continent on me only hit my costume! Mickey alone took out most of the Kahili’s team.

Then the final battle came, and everyone had a role to play and a victory to celebrate.

A.B. VS Lycanroc! Stealth Rock was set up, and the wolf was knocked down with one Leaf Blade.

Mickey VS Braviary! A couple of Thunderbolts and a Tailwind and that’s all she wrote.

Brain Bender VS Snorlax! With a high attack stat and Hammer Arm, it would seem easy, but then again, Snorlax was packing some power. High Horsepower. I was surprised too, but I kept on attacking and healing while Brain Bender dodged and criticaled out of love! Good thing this thing had no Dark-type moves, BB hates that! Eventually the big sleepyhead was down for the count.

King Louie and Doofenshmirtz VS Incineroar! I tried out the whole Z-move tanking thing once more, and while King Louie had a free hit, he had noting powerful to hit with. I went with Leech Life to heal off the Stealth Rock damage. Then Flare Blitz happened. This is when this turned into a Tag-Team Match, and a real bro moment! I switched to King Louie because of his high defenses, while I revived Mimikyu so he could get the experience he earned. Then something Outrageous happened. Turtonator wasn’t looking good, so I switched back to Mimikyu who can take the rest of the Outrage! Bros help bros! To my surprise, his disguise is back up! With Louie capable of taking another hit, and Incineroar confused, this fight was done. Ding ding! The last two members of my team, almost neighbours in the National Dex, they truly are two peas in a pod, even if Togedemaru is the pea inbetween them.

Brain Bender VS Magnezone! Leonardo and Brain Bender both had Bulldoze, but BB wasn’t weak to electric attacks, so he was back in the fray! Don’t worry folks, Leonardo still has a place to win.

Leonardo VS Ninetails! Stone Edge works well on both types of Ninetails.

The battle is over, I am the Champeen, and I petted and brushed my team off. They got a bit dusty. And I was sure to give Louie a high-five! And then his affection maxed out! Yaysies!

Then I caught Tapu Koko in a Pokeball. No nickname, it wouldn’t seem right.

Everyone is at Level 59, except for Albus Bronwyn who is hit Level 61 with the capture. I’m sure he would have done his secondary namesake proud!

And yes, I nicknamed Solgaleo “Nebby”. Doesn’t seem right to do anything else.

Now, let’s see if that Meowth can rumble!

YO. I got Tracer’s Sprinter skin. Not Track and Field. No, her SPRINTER SKIN. And she’s adorable. I barely even play Tracer! I’m so happy right now. Also, Reaper’s Slow Clap emote is the most sarcastic thing I’ve seen in the game and I am straight up loving it. I now, too, have his “it’s the refrigerator” voice line. Today was a productive day of grinding loot boxes.

MOTHERF..... I picked the damn ogre magi over the water elemental. FML. As if I needed to have any more handicaps in arena...

Edit: Here’s an update. I got 7 wins. I know. I don’t know either. Imagine what the effin’ water elemental could’ve done for me.

Current personal dilemma: I need PS Plus so I can play Overwatch again (it’s the most fun I’ve had in an fps since going to gaming cafes to play CS 1.6 or something with friends and cousins) but the roster for the PS4′s free games sucks salty Poseidon balls this month. What do I do?
