reading book 5 of Sweep (Cate Tiernan) and I am genuinely feeling more heartbroken over David than I was about Cal turning out to be a bad guy. I didn’t ever really trust Cal, I don’t think (he was too perfect tbh, and I ship her with Hunter more tbh), but I loved David from the moment we first read about him. Even now, it hurts because he only had the best of intentions and it’s so sad he went down that road :(
