Man, I can't believe the manga is over. I'm going to miss these goofy goobers.
Finished a whole page of sketches. Based on photos from Pinterest
Golden Dawn Headcanons (Because I love them)
David chugs 7 espresso shots every single day and stays up until 4 AM. His favourite thing to do, not counting betting, is throwing darts as it eases him.
Siren has an iguana and a bonzai tree that he takes care of. Siren uses some of his money for better equipment.
Hamon makes sure that Alecdora has his daily intake once he heard that he lost weight due to stress and if you have a diet, he will help you the best that he could.
Letoile spends most of her time researching maps and about the villages and their culture. She is one of the few people that knows every Wizard King in order (the rest are: Julius, William, Nozel, Fuego and Charlotte).
Klaus has 2 younger siblings and that is why he is so experienced being the mom friend.
Langris, after the Elf Arc, reads books about self help and how to heal mentally after a taxxing day.
Mimosa has the rest of her squad's information ready at all times, such as events, likes and dislikes, which might or might result in some blackmail.
William enjoys tea so much that there is a whole room the size of a church dedicated to all kinds of tea.
Yuno is the worst sleeper on the planet. He takes all of the blankets, sleeps on his stomach, moves around like crazy and his hair? An absolute mess. It takes him 10 minutes to get out of bed.
*coughs* *manga panels slip out of my pockets*
The Golden Dawn has consistent members, we just never get their names.
For example, these two are always together
This fluffy-haired guy with hooded eyes and Wind Magic seems to be friends with David, and this bobcut girl with Ice Magic shows up a lot too
There's also this guy with Conundrum Magic who shows up with Ice Magic girl and Wind Magic boy (their magics show in ch. 173),
And this guy, who is considered a Golden Dawn elite,
(Chs. 142, 235, 236, 237, 173, 172, 74, 239, not in respective order)
These are off the top of my head, but if you look around the manga, you'll find faces from the Golden Dawn appear repeatedly like this. These people have more appearances, too, that I didn't put here.
For example, that guy with long hair who appears while possessed as an elf, in the same panels as Conundrum-Magic, Ice-Magic, and Wind-Magic. He has a lot of appearances in the background. He's a different person from the guy who's always with the other one, they have different types of hair (wavy VS flat and straight)
These are unnamed background characters, and I think the red-haired forehead girl also appears as elf-possessed, but I don't remember which chapter
(I did give them names for my Castor fic, so they all appear regularly. These aren't their canon names, but they're nameless, so-
The two who are always together are Fitzergald and Davis. They're besty-best friends
Wind boy is Vimi. He made a bet that the king would fall overboard a ship, so after agreeing to a 50-50 split on the wins, Castor tripped Augustus overboard
Bobcut girl is Jemine. She only knows how to make mirepoix, but is still the best cook among the squad's girls anyway
Conundrum Magic is Allas. He's an ass as an elf, but is otherwise a crybaby, softie, and scaredy-cat. He cried when he got a yummy birthday cake to his taste
Oval-head elite is Elendor. He doesn't say much, but probably likes olive oil
Guy with wavy long hair who I didn't grab more panels of, but appears frequently, is Delleux. He's a normal guy who gets mistaken a lot for another squad member [not Davis]. This is because of 1) similar hair, 2) they swapped narrative roles, 3) their names have a similar feel to them
(You can tell Delleux and Davis apart because Fitzergald will always be with Davis, and they have different mannerisms)
Red-haired forehead girl is Carina. She joined the Golden Dawn because her crush was in the squad. William let her join because Patri saw she was an elf vessel)

Ok bye thank you!!
This is David Swallow, The Gambler!!!
David is a nobleman and a member of the Clover Kingdom's Golden Dawn squad of the Magic Knights. He is also the human host for the elf Baval
David is a relaxed and affable individual who cares for his squadmates' well-beings. He also likes to consider himself extremely lucky and likes to play games of chance with others.
David has Dice Magic: David uses this magic attribute to manifest dice that generate power in proportion to the number of pips rolled.
(Gambler’s Fallacy: With an open grimoire, the user casts a die and generates a magical blast based on the number of pips shown, with one being the weakest and six being the strongest)
Fun Fact:
The gambler's fallacy is the false belief that a frequent outcome of a random event will influence the future outcomes of the same event, such as the belief that a series of low dice rolls means the next roll has a higher chance of being a high number. This is false because each roll is statistically independent
Is there any potential for rigging the game with Gambler's Fallacy because if you can roll a six every time, holy crap that's broken.
And now, I've got the King Dice theme stuck in my head again

Rarepair week 2024
Prompt: Pining
Day two, does anyone remember Millie from the bc movie? The one researcher working with Sallie and Nero? No? Well here my rarepair is her and Letoile (you know human Kivn, the elf that almost killed solid and nebra, and impaled Nozel :v)
David is really tempted to convince Sally to conspire with him and “help” his squadmate with her situation. Nothing extreme, he promises.
