The trip and the arrival in Naples
who has higher stamina?
My favorite players
So a few days ago I promised a post with my favorite players. So here we go, they are in random order.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic. So guys I know half the world hates him, but for me it was love at first sight. After a break from football when I was in middle school I came back to it after the 2016 Worl Cup. I’ve always been an Inter fan so I started watching Inter matches. And Zlatan was special for me since the beginning. I can explain what is about him that got me hooked, but I fell for him since the first matches and I kept following him. His first book has helped me through a very shitty time of my life (that honesty isn’t completely over yet). His attitude, his believing that he’s better than anyone else, his stubbornness and determination are inspiring for me. He’s my hero and I’ll always love him. ( and he’s one hell of a player too )
Davide Santon. I know he’s not really famous and probably lot of you don’t even know who he. But he’s just so precious to me. I watched him debut with the first team. I watched him managed to contain Ronaldo in his first year in the first team (Davide’s first year). I saw him getting punished for skipping a training ( Balotelli‘s fault) and was sent in Primavera and there he got injured. He waited to have surgery at his knee cause the team needed him. And then the team dumped him. When he came back from the injury he made some mistake, it’s normal he needed to get back in the right shape. And what did they do? They loaned him to a team that had just been promoted in SerieA, so he would have the chance to play, they said. It ended up that he stayed on the bench most of times. And he was so sad, I could it, he said in multiple interviews that he never wanted to leave. And they got him back. We benched him again and then we sold him. And he found his wife and his kid in England so it was okay. Then they brought him back, they needed him and he came back, while I would have told Inter to fuck off for the they treated him. And guess what happened? He played a couple of matched then he had a minor injury and was benched again. And again and again. They let play a guy who wasn’t worth half of Davide. And I hated them. He’s a good player and a good guy. He never missed training and I sort of feel like he’s my child cause I saw him start and I feel somehow connected to him so I’m over protective. There are few celebrities that I support and love as much as him
Karim Benzema. Until a couple of years ago he wouldn’t have been on this list. I liked him just fine but he wasn’t one of my favorites. Then I noticed that he worked his ass off for the team and he was booed cause he didn’t score enough. Just like it’s happening now. And when I see people attacked without reason I get protective. And I start to defend them. I already liked him and now he’s like highest on my list of favorite. Seeing the way he keeps playing, he keeps giving everything he had on the pitch even if some fans boo him and criticize him it’s an inspiration for me. So here he is. ( making me fight with the RM store cause they won’t give me his damn shirt)
Cristiano Ronaldo. I’m very conflicted over him. I was 16 when I started following him. It was kind of like with Zlatan. I saw him and it was love at first sight. I was young and I got the biggest crush on him. He had this attitude that is a bit like Zlatan‘ and he’s super hot and in some ways he is also humble in the way he plays for the team. He’s a little shit off the pitch, but on the pitch he’s different. The way he left RM and they way he is at Juventus just... I don’t know. I still love him but I’m so disappointed in him so I was conflicted if I wanted to put him on this list, but here he is.
Gerard Piquè and Sergio Ramos. My friend was madly in love with Sergio and she roped me in. I started following Geri when Zlatan moved to Barcelona cause it looked like they were friends and I just never stopped.
Dejan Stankivic, Marco Materazzi and Cristian Chivu. I always think of them as an umbreakale trio. They are friends off the pitch too. And I died inside a bit when Cristian at that bad accident at Chievo’s stadium and he had a bad head wound and a series of surgeries, to this day every time my team plays at Bentegodi I get anxious.
Diego Milito. The hero of Triplete. I hated him at first but he quickly win me over
Andrea Ranocchia. Our little mascotte that never plays but still renewed with us. How can I not lot him?
Special mention to José Mourinho.
There are tons of other players that I love but are the ones I love the most.
The real great news today isn’t that we bought Nainggolan, but that Santon passed his medicals.
