More ‘unseen’ photos taken by David Magnus from ‘The Beatles Unseen: Photographs by David Magnus’ exhibition at Proud Chelsea next month (though, I’m sure you will have seen some of these!). These photos were taken on the 24th and 25th June, 1967, during the rehearsals and recording of the BBC’s ‘Our World’. programme. 

The exhibition starts 16th March 2017 and runs until 14th May 2017. 

I think the top photo of George and John is my new favourite picture of them!

These are some taster teaser pictures from an upcoming exhibition of David Magnus’s Beatles photos at Proud Galleries in Chelsea, London this March, which promises “many previously unseen photographs,” and  “a fascinating and deeply candid insight into The Beatles during an historic occasion taken at the world famous EMI Studio 1 [sic] in Abbey Road.” 

The photos in this exhibit, ‘The Beatles Unseen: Photographs by David Magnus’ were taken on the 24th and 25th June, 1967, during the BBC’s ‘Our World’. “Magnus documented rare, behind-the-scenes footage of this historical event, including wonderfully frank photographs of the band relaxing backstage away from the recording studio.”

The exhibition starts 16th March 2017 and runs until 14th May 2017. One to see if you can!

Ünlü İngiliz grup The Beatles'ın hiç görülmemiş fotoğrafları meraklılarıyla buluşuyor! Grup üyelerinin de yakın arkadaşı olan David Magnus tarafından grubun kurulduğu tarihten dağıldığı tarihe kadar çekilen fotoğrafları 16 Mart-14 Mayıs 2017 tarihleri arasında Proud Galleries Chelsea'de sergilenecek. Hatırlayanlarınız elbet olacaktır; grup hala ünlü modacı Stella Mccartney'in babası Paul Mccartney'nin hiç cevaplanamamış ölüm teorileriyle anılmaktadır. Paul McCartney'in ölüp ölmediğini gündeme getiren ilk haber Eylül 1969'da bir üniversite dergisinde yayınlanır ama asıl gürültü bir ay sonra, adının "Tom" olduğunu söyleyen bir dinleyici Detroit'teki bir radyoyu aradığında kopar. Tom'a göre Paul ölmüştür ve kanıtı da vardır. Tom, DJ'den Revolution 9'ı tersinden çalmasını ister. DJ, dinleyicinin söylediğini yaptığında "Turn me on, dead man" sözlerini duyduğuna inanır. DJ Gibbs, konu üzerine bir saatlik radyo programı yaptıktan hemen sonra artık geri dönüşü olmayan yola girilmiştir. Tüm Beatles hayranları ve komplo teorisi meraklıları, şarkı sözlerinden, albüm kapaklarından, konserlerden ve şarkılardan yola çıkarak yüzlerce ipucu ve kanıt üretir. İddiaya göre Paul McCartney, bir albüm çalışması sırasında gruptaki arkadaşlarıyla kötü bir şekilde tartışır ve fırtına gibi stüdyodan çıkar. Tarih 9 Kasım 1966'dır. "She's leaving home" şarkısındaki sözlere göre çarşamba sabahı saat 5'tir, "A day in life" şarkısındaki sözlere göre trafik ışıklarının değiştiğini farketmemiştir, "Revolution 9" şarkısındaki araba çarpışması seslerine göre trafik ışığına çarpmıştır, sonuçta "Lady Madonna" şarkısına göre ölümü basından saklanmıştır. Daha önce Paul McCartney'e benzeyenler arasında yapılan bir yarışmada birinci gelen William Shears Campbell, küçük estetik müdahalelerle gruptaki yerini alır. Bahsedilen dönemde grubun düşüşe geçtiği ve grup üyelerinin neredeyse birbirlerini yemek üzere olduğu da iddialar arasında.
