does anyone else ever just lose their MIND about how freaking cool soundtrack music is?? and like the absolute genius of having recurring motifs that are used in completely different ways throughout movies but all stem from the same simple melody??? like,, it’s the perfect example of how certain instruments have certain connotations and how the same exact melody can be heartachingly beautiful in one scene but then bonechilling and terrifying on the next??! not to mention the inherent brilliance of having different themes for different characters?? and just,, aaAARGHH IT'S SO FUCKING COOL !!!!!!! anyways. everyone go listen to davy jones’ theme right now. this is a threat.
